Our Story
My name is Thomas, I am a full time single father of two amazing boys who I love more than anything in this world. The reason I started Dads Never Quit was to help other fathers out there who might be in a similar situation I found myself in. My second Son I went through a very abusive relationship with his mother, after he was born I finally found the courage to leave the relationship and walk away from being treated very poorly, unfortunately this lead to my biggest fears of being away from my son. She ran off with our son out of state without my permission and had no intentions of letting me see him anymore. I had to go to court asap to try to get him back home but I never been through this process and didn't realize how long it would take. I filed immediately for custody, and her response to me filing for my parental rights was something I thought I would never see. She tried everything in the book to keep my son away from me, said I was abusive to her and our 2 week year old son, accused me of being a drug addict, went and put a protection order against me, etc.. none of these things were even remotely true and I was ready to go to war to get my son back home. When it finally came down to court none of the things she wanted was granted by the judge, she provided zero proof of any of her claims about me, and the judge even dismissed her protection order against me and granted me with everything I was asking for. The judge granted me with main responsible parent, made her pay me child support, and also made her pay my attorney fees. I felt so empty without my son home, I felt the lowest I ever have in my life, I was depressed and down, but I never gave up, I never quit. I want to help any other dads out there who are fighting for their children. I know there is a lot of men out there who may be scared to fight back, who think judges just grant everything to the mom and just believe anything the mom says. Dads have just as much rights as mothers, and you can fight back, don't let anybody ever take your children away from you. You are stronger than you know, and I am here to remind you of that every day, dads always stick together because Dads Never Quit.
